Pattern Notes
A tiny change in ring count makes the puzzle grow fast.
With 3 sticks, the move totals follow the classic pattern 1, 3, 7, 15, 31, ... because each new ring doubles the previous work and adds one more move.
Extra sticks can shorten the puzzle dramatically. This sandbox lets you compare those families side by side and then watch the solver animate a correct route from the current position.
The four tracked practice problems on the library page stay separate, so experimenting here will not mark those as solved.
